About me
I am currently a Member of Technical Staff at Anthropic, an AI safety and research company. Prior to joining Anthropic, I completed my PhD in Ethan Garner’s lab in the Molecular and Cellular Biology department at Harvard.
My main project in graduate school combined time lapse microscopy, genetics, and proteomics to understand how bacteria sense and adapt to surfaces in collaboration with Adam Strandberg and Will Mallard (preprint forthcoming!). I also worked on a number of side projects (described below). I spent roughly half of my time during graduate school performing wet lab work and the other half analyzing data and building image analysis pipelines in Python, using both traditional and machine learning based image processing techniques.
I graduated from Caltech with a degree in chemistry in 2016.
